Adrianne Palicki is the New Wonder Woman!

02.17.2011 - DC Comics just posted an official announcement the star who will be "Wonder Woman", a new TV series pilot from David E. Kelley (“Boston Legal,” “Ally McBeal,” NBC’s “Harry’s Law”). We got Adrianne Palicki (“Friday Night Lights,” “Red Dawn”) who will be starring on the new series reinvention of

the DC Comics title "Wonder Woman" aka Diana Prince a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles. She also doubles as a successful corporate executive and a modern day woman trying to live a extraordinary life.

Palicki appeared in the supposed to be Aquaman-based WB pilot as the Evil Siren, but the pilot was not picked up for the series by CW network, a result of the The WB and UPN network merger, which during that time the the pilot was being filmed.

David E. Kelley and Bill D’Elia (“Boston Legal,” “The Practice”) are the executive producers. The pilot was written by Kelley and will be directed by Jeffrey Reiner (NBC’s “The Event”). “Wonder Woman” is from David E Kelley Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
