Official release date for Batman: Arkham City announced

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios have announced the official release date of their next Batman game, Batman: Arkham City. The game is expected to hit stores in North America on October 18, followed by a release in Australia on Oct. 19, and finally in other parts of the world by October 21. The game will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, so fans looking forward to the follow-up to 2009's smash hit Batman: Arkham Asylum should do well to reserve their copies as early as possible.
