03.11.2012 – Fresh from Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax the event was greeted by kids and parents at the IMAX Theater in SM North Edsa.
The venue was decked with photo booths and mini exhibits featuring environmental friendly artwork creations by the kids who contributed to this event.
There was also a booth by Green Peace Philippines since the animated movie’s message is all about the environment and saving the trees is one of the themes. The event was hosted by GNN’s Suit Up girl Marybeth Nave who greeted the visitors with her bubbly personality.

The special press media screening won’t be this cool without The Lorax mascot, “the walking peanut” was accommodating to the kids and parents who took photos. Spotted in the special event is celebrity couple Anthony Pangilinan and Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan with their kids rubbing elbows with The Lorax in his holding area.

Back2Gaming, and the guys from
GeekMatic was talking turns on having a picture with Danny Devito’s orange mustache friend.
There was also food served at the cocktail area prior to the screening and there was also a small program inside the cinema before they started showing the film. There was even a performance by students who composed a song about nature and saving the environment.
After the screening they gave away Lorax foldable fans and stickers. The photo booth was ever active with people lining up to get there special souvenirs but The Lorax mascot was nowhere in sight. Probably he was done with his mission and went back to the sky above.
