Rurouni Kenshin Live Action Film Red Carpet Premiere!

06.28.2012 – Rurouni Kenshin known as Samurai X outside Japan has been followed by millions of Otaku worldwide based from the Manga series first appeared on Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump and the famous anime series from the mid-1990s.



Last night the live action film produced by Warner Bros. Japan and collaboration with Studio Swan had a red carpet premiere featuring the cast which features Takeru Satoh as Kenshin, Munetaka Aoki as Sanosuke Sagara and Emi Takei as Kaoru. The film is directed by Keishi Ōtomo.

No news if the film will be distributed outside of Japan as fans around the world is talking about the film as something is done purely by Japanese production which is exclusively distributed by Warner Bros.

We previously reported about the film’s developments since last year up to the leaked images up to the release of the 2nd trailer last March. Rurouni Kenshin finally gets its own live action treatment after its first appearance in Weekly Shōnen Jump 18 years ago.

The red carpet premiere featured the full cast led by Takeru Satoh as Kenshin Himura best known for the Sentai TV series in Kamen Rider Den-O. The film won’t be shown in Japan cinemas until August 25, 2012 but this full trailer will definitely anticipate you…
