Both Manix and his father Jess have their works currently appear in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Back in 2010 they were one of the highlighted guests at Komikon.
Manix has nothing but good words from his father Jess Abrera when they were talking in the panel during Komikon 2010 and until now he’s still the same humble guy getting long lines of people who has bought his books.
This week Manix is set to launch his 9th book compilation of Kiko Machine series and Solar Daybreak talked to him during Ayala Museum’s Art Room where he was the guest teacher for younger teenagers for their art workshops.
Kiko Machine’s 9th book titled “Ilayo Mo Kami sa Apoy ng Impyerno!” (Take us Away from the Fires of Hell!”) The collected comic strip is set to be released this Saturday at Summer Komikon 2013!
The Filipino language book will certainly be a hit with his growing fans so expect VERY LONG lines to form in this year’s event and you can watch as Manix talks about it here...
