Despicable Me 2: Agent Lucy Wilde!

06.29.2013 – Who is Agent Lucy Wilde? Of course you've seen her in the promotional trailers for Despicable Me 2. The minions have been a scene stealer but behind the 10,400 little henchmen there are also the other characters like Lucy.

Lucy Wilde is a new character who was voiced by Kristen Wig who original voiced Miss Hatie who runs Miss Hatie’s Home for Girls where Gru adopted his three daughters in the first film.


Kirsten Wiig is a comedian best known for her work as a cast member of NBC’s longest running sketch comedy series in Saturday Night Live. She has a voiced some memorable animated features that includes "Ruffnut" in How to Train Your Dragon, "Miss Hattie" in Despicable Me and "Lola Bunny" in the series The Looney Tunes Show. She also appeared in television shows.



Wiig co-wrote and starred in the 2011 comedy film, Bridesmaids, which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress – Musical/Comedy, as well as nominations for the Academy Award and BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay.

Kristen Wiig returns to voice work once again in Despicable Me 2 and she introduced Agent Lucy Wilde a member of the AVL (Anti Villain League) could possibly more than what Gru doesn’t know than meets the eye…



Despicable Me 2 opens in Philippine cinemas on July 3, 3013 from Illumination Entertainment and Universal Studios to be distributed by Solar Entertainment.
