Lucy Wilde is a new character who was voiced by Kristen Wig who original voiced Miss Hatie who runs Miss Hatie’s Home for Girls where Gru adopted his three daughters in the first film. |
Kirsten Wiig is a comedian best known for her work as a cast member of NBC’s longest running sketch comedy series in Saturday Night Live. She has a voiced some memorable animated features that includes "Ruffnut" in How to Train Your Dragon, "Miss Hattie" in Despicable Me and "Lola Bunny" in the series The Looney Tunes Show. She also appeared in television shows.
Wiig co-wrote and starred in the 2011 comedy film, Bridesmaids, which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress – Musical/Comedy, as well as nominations for the Academy Award and BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay.
