STGCC 2013: Hall of Armors by Hot Toys!

09.06.2013 – Last weekend Singapore, Toy, Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) opened its doors for the sixth time since it was introduced in 2008. The multi genre convention dubbed “The Biggest Pop Culture Event in Asia” has more to be excited about this year’s theme.

Marvel and Disney returns to STGCC promoting upcoming TV shows, cartoon and the future for the company that has been churning out movies left and right. But at the center of it was Iron Man 3 and Action City together with Hot Toys brought the Hall of Armor!

This also revealed three new exclusives for this year’s STGCC which includes the new Captain America, Joe Colton from G.I. Joe Retaliation, Evil Superman from the third film and the coveted limited edition Iron Man MARK XXI aka Midas which was only in a limited run of 800 pieces.

There was even some commotion on the first day after it was sold out in less than three hours which would remind some Singaporeans a similar incident early this year about the Happy Meal toy featuring Hello Kitty. But as you all know this would eventually happen since its limited release that almost got out of hand.

But overall the story that was talked about behind that is the hall of armors which definitely a thrill to spend your weekend at STGCC.

Action City which is Singapore’s local toy distributor for Hot Toys which they started participating in the very first STGCC was present to bring you the Hall of Armor featuring the full scale of the seven Iron Man suits that was featured in the trilogy which also includes the MARK VII from the billion dollar hit in the Avengers.

The centerpiece features a MARK 42 in action pose as well as the one seated near the entrance for you to have a souvenir photo. If you missed the chance to see it in person at STGCC here are set of photos taken…
