Tintin Shop opens at Fully Booked!

05.04.2014 – Tintin is a popular Belgian comic series by a cartoonist named Goerges Remi who wrote under the pen name Hergé.

The popular series first appeared in French on January 10, 1929 published Le Petit Vingtième, a youth supplement to the Belgian newspaper Le Vingtième Siècle.

The series was released on the spin off Tintin Magazine and by 1950 Hergé Studios was established which produced the canonical series of twenty-four Tintin albums.


Tintin was a huge success which adapted ‘The Adventures of Tintin’ for radio, television, theater and film. The popularity of the series also produced merchandise, die cast collectible cars, prints, artwork, clothing apparel and anything related to Tintin.

There are stores opened all over the world and the closest Tintin Shop you can find in Asia is in Singapore. But that would change everything now that Fully Booked a popular bookstore has acquired the rights to open up a shop in the Philippines. Their first and only store can be found at the Bonifacio High Street flagship store in Taguig city.













The store opened its doors in the morning of Saturday at the height of Free Comic Book Day, which they have been participating since 2008. The Tintin Shop is located at the ground floor near the magazine area used to be located.

It’s a treasure trove of anything Tintin that you’ll certainly be hanging out whenever you pass by Full Booked. For those fans that have been traveling to Singapore just to visit the store would be excited to find, that there is now a store in the country where you can find the stuff you’ve always wanted.















Tintin Shop has opened its stores just in time for Free Comic Book Day, where comic book fans can also appreciate having the chance to know more of this popular series.
