Penguins of Madagascar 4 Minute Documentary!

10.15.2014 – With the success of the Madagascar trilogy they look up to expand with a spinoff. The new animated feature will focus on the four Penguins that made Madagascar popular, which eventually their break out spinoff was produced into a TV series.

The penguins Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private are headed to the big screen following the events of Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted. Now DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox has released a four minute "Penguins Antarctic Documentary" trailer…


This movie is unrelated to the TV series “Penguins of Madagascar” (which is set in its own continuity), but the one hitting in theaters re-telling the origins of the foursome Penguins and how they became the agents everyone have known today.



In the four minute trailer Skipper, Kowalski, and Rico walking in the long line among the Penguins in North Pole until one of them slipped causing a domino effect, that the trio avoided and asked where are the others are headed. A random penguin replied “who cares” as they decided to “fly”, which like any of their species are “flightless” trying to figure out that they flippers are good for something else like a “high five.”

Their appearance takes place when they where still little penguins and as the scene continued to where a mysterious egg rolled over hitting all three of them. Another random penguin replied that they lose a few eggs every year that it’s nature. But Skipper rejects nature but the other penguins continue to marches on, which they chased the egg ending in the abandoned ship full of Leopard seals.

Skipper stuck in the cliff along with Kowalski and Rico unknown to them are being filmed by the humans in the documentary. They where thrown by them into the same ship with the egg that’s about to be eaten by the Leopard seals, which they where trying to getaway with the egg that Rico just swallowed.

Eventually they escaped via harpoon the abandoned ship at the same time making it explode landing in a snow covered iceberg, where Rico had spit the egg out and in the middle of their “high five” hatched it revealing the fourth member they named Private.

Penguins of Madagascar is a 3D animated film produced by DeamWorks Animation to be shown on November 26, 2014 distributed by 20th Century Fox in the Philippines
