| 04.20.2015 – Big Wow Comic Fest was spectacular this year with comic book legends in Jim Steranko (Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.) & Dave Gibbons (Watchmen).
They have a few Hollywood celebrities included in the list (Tom Felton, Jake Lloyd & Daniel Cudmore). But mostly this event is focused on the comic book industry unlike the other conventions that are heavily presenting TV and Movies. |
For Big Wow Comic Fest they have brought in the biggest names in the comic book industry in the past. But this year you got Jim Steranko who re-invented Nick Fury, the former Howling Commando into S.H.I.E.L.D.’s super spy hero and what pave away in being an element that made the cinematic universe popular.
Mr. Steranko was gracious enough to speak to his fans that the line was not moving fast as you’d expect, but he certainly was a warm soul and great to have conversations with once you reached his table. It’s also welcoming he signed one of the programs that were given away upon entering the convention floor.

The cosplayers in another important element why Big Wow Comic Fest owes it to the fans as a secondary interest in what you see in the convention floor. Impressive and passionate individuals dress up as their favourite characters based from the comic books, movies and television it show how the fans come in full force over the weekend is hard to miss when you see them.
