Giordano x Voltes V on 12.10.2015?

12.05.2015 – Giordano one of the retail brands in Asia a Hong Kong based company has been around since 1981 continuing to evolve to suit every men, woman, and children’s clothing line. They’re familiar with tie ups to pop culture trends too.

This was evident in the past when they partnered and brought in an exclusive clothing line to promote Disney Pixar’s “Monsters University” in 2013 and “Inside Out” early this year with pop-up mall tours in the Philippines.


But there was a teaser that went out in social media that’s not related to Disney, but surely Filipinos would connect with and that is Voltes V.

The popular Japanese Super Robot anime series that was cancelled in the 1970’s due to the Philippine Martial Law became a Philippine cult following is getting a revival through Giordano’s clothing line launch this month with this teaser image.



There where no other details regarding the upcoming promotion, but surely those who grew up in the 1970s and 1980s would associate with the classic Japanese anime series. Toy manufacturer Bandai released a reissued of the diecast action figure that was originally came out in 2006 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of “Soul of Chogokin” toyline with an improved version of Voltes V.

Of course the launch of the clothing line will add to the growing merchandise of this well-lived anime series in the Philippines surely you won’t miss getting some to wear this holiday season.
