Shriektober 2019 at Trinoma Mall!
For this year, Shriektober at Trinoma Mall is bigger and gives the children and some parents who are kids at heart to bond with their little ones and also have a great time spending the festive Halloween events.
Mechanics and Changes to Enter
Since lasts year had tremendous turnout the management and organizers of Trinoma Mall made sure the venue is allotted to a certain number of people as the main atrium can’t accommodate beyond its capacity for some reason not all had the chance to enter the venue as how the mechanics was set up for this event.
Basically, to be able to enter the venue you have to spend PhP 1,000.00 pesos worth of single purchase total to that amount, which gives you a ticket that you need to exchange the receipt for verification that allows you to gain access into the venue with a child for this event as compared to 2018. Due to security and the capacity allowed for the venue were subject for the changes this year.
Organizers have no choice but to turn down people who were never got the chance to secure the ticket that was immediately sold out at the concierge. For this year it was more organized now in comparison to the overwhelming crowd. Kids get to go around each of the activity booth and get to see the program better.
For those who missed out what are the activities for this year here are the list below:
•Foxy Photobooth
•Lava Escape
•Sugar Skull Maze
•Slime Time
•Spookie Cookie
•Face Painting
Foxy Photobooth
Get your friends or the whole family to have the photo opportunity to use Jonny Bravo’s backdrop. This huge wall can have an entire class photo or the whole family taking up the right amount of space.
The background features Jonny and his mum on both ends of the wall and at the center is where he hangs out and also the house where he lives with his mama. The slicked backed blondie and his mama is just the right background for the family photo opportunity.
Lava Escape
This special activity is only for the kids and the task is to cross in-between the guides in avoiding the treacherous path, which is an oversized boardgame. For your success you get to take home a FREE incentive in the form of a LEGO polybag.
If the kids can have a go at this, why not young adventurous adults too, which they may have fun with this for the sake of a LEGO polybag prize. Unfortunately, it is for kids and as the young ones were certainly having a ludicrous time taking home the colourful prize.
Sugar Skull Maze
There’s a small maze sitting on top of a table that let you move the tiny ball to any direction it takes. Of course, the object of the game is to make it through the maze that is more like in diorama scale and it is quite a challenge to keep the task at hand.
Kids were lining up on this one and they really had a go on taking the orange ball pass through the challenge. The navigating of the maze takes skill because you have to move the maze in order to navigate the ball to its rightful path and everyone was enjoying every bit of that task.
Slime Time
This bit of area was not explained but from the name of it has something to do with slime, but there never was that particular activity as there are two photobooths just across this that has a different task that was not mentioned in the ticket to collect all six stamps for a special prize.
Spookie Cookie
Another activity that was not elaborated in the event, but just on the other side of the venue were free tasting booths that you also get the chance to take home some cookies for the day. Besides the inactivity of this area an alternative stage program will give you kid a good seating view for some Cartoon Network shows instead.
Face Painting
This area has four chairs and table for kids to have their face painted by assigned staff. It is free and they let you choose the design for them to paint over your face. It might not be for the toddlers, but for the kids with the right age this was a cool activity while they listen to the happenings on stage.
Beside the activities there are some meet and greet with the mascots from Adventure Time and Powerpuff Girls entertaining not only the kids but parents too. There were enough activities for this year and some freebies and prizes for those who participated in these event activities.
Overall another successful Halloween-themed event with Trinoma Mall and Cartoon Network that brings families together. For more of Shriektober and the other Ayala Malls organizing this event follow Cartoon Network Asia via Social Media on Facebook.
