Secret Fresh | Quiccs: Manila Killa

11.04.2019 – The weekend was crazy and wild for the very first Solo Art Show featuring Quiccs at Secret Fresh. The Philippine-based Toy Designer and renowned for his street art and the very popular TEQ63 has finally made it. Not only he released four exclusive artworks, but also released the “Manila Killa” Encore Edition pack.

Sunday was the finale of sorts for the “Manila Killa” art show that was a resounding success that defines what is the Philippine Art Toy scene is all about. Quiccs still as humble as he was five years ago when he was developing the TEQ63 art toy for what it was today greeted his fans family, friends, fans, and followers as he arrived.


Quiccs is not a one-man show, but is part of the Bullet Punk Network that comprised a team effort in putting together what the TEQ63 as a brand. Besides the artwork and the exclusive release of the TEQ63 “Manila Killa” Encore Edition that includes the MicroTEQ, the standard TEQ63, and the MegaTEQ that was sold by lottery pick there was also the impressive auction that closed out the show.

There were only fifty Encore Editions that were was sold for the show via lottery pick and random question about Quiccs and the origins of TEQ63 to be able to avail this impressive collection. As early as 7 AM there were already long lines building up for those fortunate enough to be able to acquire this collection.









It shows how the value of the TEQ63 has become such a holy grail to art toy collectors in the country and putting the brand’s demand not only in the Philippines. But it’s international standards that merit special collaborations from well-known artists making Quiccs a household name that is still rising to the occasion. Only the true fans knows his hard work and dedication to his craft paid off after almost five years developing the art toy shows you really made it.

And yet the artists himself stays true to his humble beginnings that makes him highly sought after by international art toy makers. From his early days in attending the Indonesian Toy Shows to Complex Con Exclusive collaboration with Sket One the skies the limit for Quiccs in putting out the TEQ63 brand.

Even his fellow Pilipinas Street Plan contemporary artists are following suit with some of their art toy is the testament that it’s the right time for the Philippine Art Toy scene to finally represent the country. The upcoming annual Toy Art PH is set to happen sometime in December 2019 wait `till you see what Quiccs and Bullet Punk Network are cooking for that event.











The weekend wrapped up on a high note closing the launch with the auction that was impressive as one of the four art toys for auctioned gained high dollar value as high as $2,000.00 USD and that would be insane for those who are just finding interest what an art toy is all about. Clearly, the local Art Toy community has finally arrived and thankfully you got Quiccs who showed the way. What’s next is for the local artists to step up to push the envelope that the Art Toy scene in the Philippines is here.
