| 12.17.2019 – Toy Art Philippines’ Toy Festival 2019 was off to a great weekend with some special activities that were not official listed as part of the event. But the major highlight that made this year special is the custom Dunny Show, which was sponsored by kidrobot that featured 25 local artists in the country in this impressive gallery.
For weeks each featured artists who was part of the Custom Dunny Show has teased their projects via social media. It was a great line of talents that was collated for this year’s featured theme. Each Dunny has a story to share and it was most notable part of TAPh that has been announced prior to the reveals. |
Besides the twenty five visual artists there are also some of the exclusives that were released by kidrobot. But certainly, the scene stealer from all the 25 Dunnies is Quiccs’ entry which was auctioned on Saturday that certainly a record breaker.
In case you didn’t make it last weekend to see the Toy Festival chances are you might be in another event. But no worries everything is covered here to witness all twenty five works as all as the list that you might have missed to know the talents.

Bonus Stage | Art Toys PH + Quiccs = AstroTEQ
The local community from Art Toys PH also participated with their special exhibit with long time toy customizer MIKOSWABE. Originally, Miko started out customizing action figures as one of the members of AFP or Action Figure Philippines. He represents the local community of designer toy collectors from Art Toys PH with his rendition of AstroTEQ used the "TEQ63-R177A" GORILLA TEQ that was released early this year.
AstroTEQ’s colorway is based from NASA’s flight suit, which also features another designer toy as its companion. The details on this TEQ packed enough Easter eggs inspired by the NASA space program. This is separate from the Dunny Custom Show that featured twenty five artists that includes The Dragonslayer by Quiccs, which was sold at the auction for ₱ 221,000.00 Pesos ($ 4364.77 USD | $ 6371.00 AUD**).
