McFarlane Toys | DC Multiverse at Toy Town

McFarlane Toys continues to put out the best action figures with the DC Multiverse since they acquired the rights in 2019. The current releases continue to improve its design as well innovate from the previous iteration of characters that were produced by its former license holder not only with sculpts but the presentation and quality. The new wave featuring Dark Knights: Death Metal Build-a-Figure Darkfather, which appeared recently in the DC Comics mini-series. This wave assortment arrive this recent Wednesday along with two other figures (Gold Hellbat & Batman Beyond) that are not part of the assortment that was recently sighted Toy Town in Glorietta Mall.

There’s not much introduction for the Dark Knights: Death Metal other than they’re based from one of DC Comics major story arc that featured these characters. The four important figures from this series have unique accessories as well as the pieces to put together the villain Darkfather, a combination of Batman and Darkseid.

Besides this set is two figures that would probably worth taking a second look, namely the Hellbat Gold Edition, since its original release last year the standard coloured version was the most sought after in the initial wave that introduced the DC Multiverse by McFarlane Toys.

It might be your second chance to pick up this figure, which defined as a ‘hunk of plastic” in size for the right price point that certainly was a hit among collectors that was rarely seen in local retail. The other figure was also talked about, which was Batman Beyond, which surprisingly supposed to be part of another wave of Build-A-Figure but turns out to be a solo version that includes some interesting accessories.

There’s another version of this figure that would be part of the Build-a-Figure similar to the Dark Knights: Death Metal. But if you’re not into that version this Batman featuring Terry McGuiness might be the best one to get as Toy Town is running out of this figure literally flying off the shelves as price points details listed below:
