09.10.2015 – Diecast cars collecting is one of the interesting hobbies out there. There are countless cars based from licensed automobile manufacturers out there produced by well known brands in this generation.

There are also exclusives from conventions, event launches and stores. In the Philippines it’s rare to see one exclusively made for a particular store. But for Toy Kingdom this might be a first exclusive everyone should not pass up.

The exclusive in focus is the Toy Kingdom delivery truck, which is produced by Takara Tomy for their diecast line of Tomica cars. It was recently released a day after the much anticipated #ForceFridayPH when everyone went crazy over the latest toys from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

This orange delivery truck went sold out immediately and it became a subject of everyone’s excitement even those who never was into diecast collecting went on a buying frenzy resulting an immediate sold out last Saturday at the Toy Kingdom flagship store in SM Megamall. But due to the intense popularity of that particular orange truck Toy Kingdom had a new batch restocked on a Thursday morning,

Mitsubishi Fuso Canter

Toy Kingdom’s orange delivery truck is based from the Mitsubishi Fuso Canter, which is a real-life vehicle that is also assembled and sold in the Philippines. The diecast version first introduced in the 2011, which is the 7th generation to depict the name and badge of this workhorse.

There are variations of the Canter truck and had released several brandings produced under the Tomica diecast line of vehicles. But in the Philippines there are one currently available on retail aside from the Toy Kingdom edition. The standard Mitsubishi Fuso Canter that have the truck’s name as its badge on both side is the same mold use to produce the TK Delivery Truck.

The Amazing Delivery Truck

Here’s a closer look at the Toy Kingdom truck the details and colors are tailor-made to why this version of the Mitsubishi Fuso Canter a Philippine exclusive.

It’s entirely painted in orange and both side features the familiar “Toy Kingdom” logo, where they used a translucent high quality sticker label. But it they could have used a tampograph instead either way it’s unnoticeable that it’s a sticker.

They used the same Mitsubishi Fuso Canter that’s released in Japan since you’ll notice this is right-hand drive truck so expect problems taking it to the EDSA main road. The license plate in the front says: “WOW 702” and the Fuso badge in black font can be seen in detail.

The rear container just like all Canter trucks has opening doors, which what makes Tomica one of the rare diecast cars to have this kind of gimmicks.

Limited Toy Kingdom Exclusive

This has been sold out once it can be sold out again due to its exclusive release. Toy Kingdom might not be able to restock this again. This is due to that being known as the toy store originated in the Philippines this is an exclusive you can’t pass it up since the toy store is becoming a popular brand in Asia.

Overall the details of this Mitsubishi Fuso Canter Toy Kingdom Truck make it appear like a different Canter on its own. Since the box indicates not to be sold outside in the Philippines it’s going to be a must-have for diecast collectors outside the country.
