 | 09.15.2010 - The Halo Reach Midnight Launch at San Diego had a long line as our US correspondents Mach Diesel of SMU Toys and his wing man Sean Dizzy went to do a coverage and grabbed the most exclusive decor, The Halo: Reach Legendary Edition. Almost midnight our fellow US-based Geek Heads specially Sean had took home this 10-pound slab of the franchise's new heroes in sculpture form. Available and was released during the midnight launch. |
Reach functions as a prequel to the existing Halo games. It makes you a member of Noble Team, a group of Spartan super-soldiers making an epic stand against the alien Covenant on their home planet, Reach.(Anyone familiar with Halo lore knows the Covenant is destined to conquer the humans, but that one fleeing spaceship will contain a certain ticked-off Master Chief.)
The Legendary Edition's limited -edition statues of Noble Team stands 10 inches tall as Sean opens the package through your computer monitor's screen (If your darn lazy not to view it) is produced by McFarlane Toys.
The Legendary box also includes mock classified documents and a copy of the personal journal of Spartan-program creator Dr. Catherine Halsey. Both of the replicas promise to provide previously unknown details about the Halo universe.
For those Halo fans out there this does not disappoint. Put this on your mantle to your shrine to the game that ended thousands of relationships.
