Heads up, folks! Some important ticket registration news for the week!

The rabidly popular San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) 2011 tickets will finally on sale online at their official website on 5th February 2011, 9am PST.

Red Dot Diva warns that before one begins with their online registration though, please do read the detailed instructions on Comic Con's website. It's a new process this year, with Comic Con using a new partner portal called TicketLeap.

She really hopes it will go smoothly this time round, and that those who really want to go to SDCC 2011, will get their desired passes.

On another note, New York Comic Con (NYCC) 2011, organized by Reed Exhibitions, (the same company that helmed the Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention 2010) will have their tickets on sale on 7th February 2011 (Monday) at 12.00 pm EST.

This year, NYCC 2011 runs for 4 days instead of just 3 days to cater for more fans, exhibitors, and programming! The convention will be on the13th to 16th October 2011 at the Jacob K. Javits Center, NYC. 

NYCC is a much smaller convention compared to SDCC, but still quite geekily popular on the East Coast, USA. Tickets for NYCC usually do not run out before the ticket registration ends in September. However, with the new preview night on Thursday, 13th October, one may never quite know what might happen.

Over in Australia and NZ, comic conventions are becoming wildly popular too! There are two key convention organizers there known are Supanova and Armageddon.

Both organizers have been able to get some interesting guests for their respective conventions this year. Names include Lance Henriksen, Simon Pegg, Julie Benz, Gail Simone, Ben Templesmith, Christopher Lloyd, Jane Badler and David Anders. So, it would be rather epic if one can afford to attend these conventions too!
