| 04.18.2015 – If you’ve seen the classic claymation in “Wallace & Gromit” or the hilarious “Chicken Run” then you might have already heard about “Shaun The Sheep” from Aardman Animations LTD that’s heading to the big screen.
McDonald’s Happy Meal tie-up to the upcoming film has been doing the rounds of promotion since early in March 2015 and its now the featured toys for this April with eight to collect its enough for one big party not only for a flock of sheep. |
Shaun the Sheep has been a popular British stop-motion animated series that was a direct spinoff from “Wallace and Gromit” where the character Shaun was featured in 1995’s short film “A Close Shave” has garnered further popularity with his own series in 2007 that was broadcast in 180 countries worldwide.
The series also inspired its own spinoff with “Timmy Time” featuring Timmy who will also appear in the movie with his mom. This time Shaun is over his head in the forthcoming feature-length film “Shaun the Sheep Movie.”
In other countries the film has started being shown since February which explains the toy promotion for McDonald’s that started to appear in March and finally its here in the Philippines all eight collectibles are the same as released in its early release to coincide with the showing the film.
There are eight party themed Shaun the Sheep collectibles and they are “Timmy Party Surprise”, “Shaun Bubble Blower”, “Rock’n Shirley”, “Shaun’s Party Invites”, “Shaun’s Challenge”, “Shirley’s Secret Box”, Shaun’s Party Trick” with a role play “Shaun Party Mask” similar to The Batman Mask released in 2013.
