The world's best known beagle, known for lines such as "I'm allergic to mornings," boasts star number 2,563 on Hollywood Boulevard, right next to that of his creator, Charles Schulz.
On Monday (November 2nd), a person dressed up as Snoopy was brought in to accept the honor and pose with fans that turned out to cheer the dog. Snoopy is a beloved black and white beagle that first came to life 65 years ago was already a star in the upcoming "The Peanuts Movie". It opens in the United States and will be released in other countries starting on December 23rd while in the Philippines on January 8, 2016.
Snoopy joins other comic book or animated movie characters such as Bugs Bunny, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Snow White and the ogre Shrek at the Walk of Fame.
The other dogs with stars on the Walk of Fame include Lassie and Rin Tin Tin. Congratulating and celebrating with Snoopy on this momentous occasion are director Steve Martino and producers Paul Feig and the Schulz family.
