| 04.30.2016 – “Marvels The Punisher” spins off into the sixth series into their unprecedented collaboration with Marvel Television and Netflix. Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle, introduced to fans earlier this year in the second season of the Netflix original series “Marvel’s Daredevil.”

Netflix has ordered a full first season of “Marvel’s The Punisher” becoming the sixth series as part of the collaboration with Marvel Television, including the upcoming Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and the ensemble miniseries The Defenders. This also includes Jessica Jones and the aforementioned Daredevil.
Jon Berthal’s portrayal of Frank Castle in the second season of Daredevil earned him a cult following being the fourth actor to portray the character. But this is the definitive version of the Punisher in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and its now official that its going to be a new series from Netflix and Marvel Studios.
