| 05.04.2016 – Ahead of its official release the McDonald’s Happy Meal for the month of May is the “Angry Birds”, which was highly speculated by collectors and fans as the next featured toy after “Adventure Time” late last month.
The latest toys featured Happy Meal won’t be in McDonald’s stores until May 11th, but they sent a surprise teaser in the form a giant orange egg that reveal five of the ten toys that will be available starting next week and Monday isn’t here yet… |
“Angry Birds” is a popular game app that was originally downloaded exclusively for Apple’s iOS, but the addiction spawned a cult following where you try to launch these famous birds to destroy the Pigs fortress where they stole their eggs.
The game has expanded and even partnered with featured animated films like RIO and other famous brands like Star Wars and Transformers, which expanded also into merchandise produced by Mattel and Hasbro.
This time “Angry Birds” spins off once again from that addicting game on your phone into a 3D animated feature film introducing the widely popular characters. With that in mind a new slew of merchandise and collectible items where released based on the film and they also partnered with McDonald’s to produce their very first Happy Meal toys that has been released to coincide with the upcoming films in other countries.

The next stop for these “Angry Birds” is Asia and the toys has been slowly making its way to the Philippines as recently released sets where already out in Malaysia and Singapore. The toys that where released in these previous countries in Asia are the same toys that will be available in the Philippines when it’s released on May 11, 2016 this Monday featured ten toys.
McDonald’s Philippines sent over the mystery egg in orange that reveal five of the ten toys that will be available at their stores. The other five will be a surprise for those invited to see the film sometime this week as gift.
For now take a look at the five of the toys teased for you to get excited starting this Monday at your nearest McDonald’s outlet.
