Yes, The Joker is as iconic as the characters from Justice League Action and he’s included in the first wave of 4.5 inch action figures along with Batman. Both characters in the animated series where voiced by Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy from Batman: the Animated Series that brings a little bit of nostalgia.
The figures of course have little appeal that has been saturated with similar properties from DC Comics and Mattel. But they have produced these 4.5 inch range of characters based from the show under the “Power Connects” theme where you interchange and swap weapons with other figures.
Jokes on You
The Joker is one of the hard to find figures for the Power Connects themed range from Justice League Action along with Wonder Woman being the only female character. The entire line of Justice League Action with this scale is not generally available on retail and most of them are sold by third party sellers in eBay.
Closely the packaging like the one reviewed in the Batman figure is generic; the difference is the reference on the other figures available. For the Joker feature three accessories similar to the Cape Crusader and takes you the time of Batman: The Animated Series with its packaging.
Hamill-ing the Humour
Batman may have the coolest gadgets and its subtle accessories, but this Joker is entirely the opposite with very bright colours. The accessories that came with this figure are a pun and a joke rolled into one that makes this sought after character.
The Joker has a “Jack Hammer” made of two separate pieces and a et pack sort of accessory that can be attached to his back. There are no moving parts when you attach the hammer to the jack. Pretty much his weapon appears harmless and the figure it self IS the accessory having it’s sculpting is based from the Batman: The Animated Series Joker with that winking face.
Madness Smile
Like all the Justice League Action figures they’re articulated having knees and elbow joints with minimal head rotation this is one of the best that came out from Mattel aside from they’re a bit pricey DC Multiverse range of characters, which is more detailed and a lot more articulation.
Overall The Joker is one character to acquire opposite Batman and its one of those rare figures to find as probably available one-per case assortment along with Wonder Woman. This might be similar to the Wave Two release with Lex Luthor, but so far this is as far as what this series will have for now.
Mattel should market this line besides the large scale figures for younger kids. But it seems it has a smaller audience that rare some would know about these figures. The Joker is part of the Justice League Power Connects line from Mattel retailed at $6.00 AUD (PHP 240.00 pesos) was sold at The Reject Shop.
