Vinyl On Vinyl | Critical Hit

Every artist evolves and learns living through life. Gabriel Tionson is on a pathway to learning at the same time facing numerous challenges unseen in the public spectrum. He’s gone through a lot of challenges and it is human to face them all and channel it into something new and creative that continues to process in his works.

It is a critical hit, but like anyone, you go up and take the lessons and make them right from your perspective. It is something quite the title of his latest show, Critical Hit. The way his new works have changed is inspired by his childhood affinity with the 80s & 90s cartoons as well as his voracious appetite for comic books and videogames.

Now going as DIKO with his very first solo show in a long time, the man has slowly continued to learn art, which he self-studied, and then moved to New Zealand to take up formal courses to develop something new to his repertoire. Like the other visual artists, he continues to develop and create something new for the gallery visitors.

It is not only about creating art this is about finding the inspiration to amuse others in the process and he certainly does build upon the latest pieces that hang on the walls of his exhibit and it is something worth to see it in person.

In case you missed out on the artist's reception, these images will likely give you an idea of what his style is all about accompanied by a video installation…
