Asia Pop Comic Con 2019 | POSTPONED

06.20.2019 – By now everyone must have accepted the bitter news that has been officially announced that has been going on for the past few weeks even in months. The Asia Pop Comic Con Manila has been canceled to much fanfare of this international event this comes not much big news for some. Conventions come and go in other countries but this is not the first time an event did not push through for this year. There were rumblings behind-the-scenes and some even speculate too much that the bottom line for this happening now is part how business works in the Philippines why this event did not last this long.

Comic-Con Asia | Not The First in Asia?

09.15.2017 – In the Philippines, everyone thinks they’re ‘The First’ disregarding the history of the previous ones who came before them. It’s not also surprising that another ‘Comic-Con’ in Asia has a press media-exclusive event last night. Though they say ‘the more, the merrier’ is good for the Philippine Popular Convention scene adding another major event in Asia is a good thing, but the concept and content is the same doesn’t mean you’re ‘The First’ in Asia as what has been reported regarding this new ‘Comic Convention.’

Supanova 2017 | Stan Lee Goes Down Under

09.13.2017 – Stan Lee is an icon and Marvel’s patriarch when it comes to the comic book characters he helped create. The man doesn’t need no introduction. But the ‘Generalisimo’ rarely travels outside North America and is in his mid-90s it appears he's not taking this slow. This might a surprise to hear the news his going overseas heading down under. Yes, even the man who coined the word ‘Excelsior’ still wants to see Kangaroos and Koalas.
