PCheng's Movie Review: Black Butler!

Before I go on with this movie review I'll go ahead and say it - I have not seen the anime nor have I read the Manga. So this review will be from the eyes and perspective of an Otaku who will be seeing this franchise first through the live action movie.

10.22.2013 – Marcushiro Nada grew up appreciating the Japanese culture which some of them where already there before he was born. But inspiration and passion for this culture runs deep for Nada to come up with some of the iconic characters from the rising sun. Enter the Unguarded Moments his fourth solo show this time at Secret Fresh. It’s something cool and close to his childhood featuring some of the well-known Sentai and Kaiju characters that defined the Japanese Pop Culture.

10.07.2013 – For every artist growing up there will always be an inspiration or a drive that would push their imagination to achieving that goal. Sometimes it’s just about being passionate in drawing your favorite anime or cartoon. Joseph “Jay” Valente is one of those aspiring artists who have been doing fine art. Last Saturday he had launch his second solo show featuring some of the most influential Japanese animations from his childhood. These where from the Super Robots of the 1970s and Filipinos who grew up in this era would quickly associate them.
