PBF 2026 | Books, Komiks, & Imagination

The Philippines Book and Development Board returns with this year’s Philippine Book Festival, which has been consistently held since 2023, and despite the venue change beginning last year, the turnout for literacy and interest in reading has been great for young readers in a world of e-books. Every year, PBF, there’s always something new to see, and book titles that are locally published from the grassroots that inspire those who continue the support of literacy, and inspire imagination in young minds that show reading an actual book is not entirely a lost art to foster interest for the next generation.

ToyCon 2012: The Dark Knight Rises Batsuit on display at the Warner Bros. booth!

On this year's installment of The Philippine Toys, Hobbies, and Collectibles Convention, Warner Bros., DC Comics, and ToyCon PH have teamed up to present fans of all things Batman with a special treat - the official replica of the batsuit worn by actor Christian Bale in The Dark Knight/ The Dark Knight Rises! Starting today June 15, the suit will be on display to the general public, located in the TDKR booth provided by Warner Bros. Philippines! Anyone looking forward to Christopher Nolan's epic final chapter to The Dark Knight legend will surely want to check this out, and I myself have had the opportunity to see it personally, as pictured below!

Closing Day: The Philippine Toys, Hobbies, & Collectibles Convention!

06.19.2011 - The closing day of the 10th Philippine Toys, Hobbies, & Collectibles Convention aka (Toy Con) has the most attendance earlier today. The last day would be considered the biggest crowd to packed all three Megatrade Halls now that cosplay groups have come to Toy Con. So far the attendance from yesterday was more than last year. This annual event has become bigger than ever with its flair and the best to come out in the oldest convention in Asia.
