Justice League #12 cover reveals Superman/ Wonder Woman as a couple

Revealed by Entertainment Weekly, the variant cover to Justice League #12 by artist Jim Lee paints a new status quo in The New 52 era of DC Comics - Superman and Wonder Woman are now literally a "power couple", shown in this cover to be hovering and teasing a passionate kiss during the sunset. With Lois Lane dating somebody else other than Clark Kent, this leaves the door open for the Man Of Steel to date the Amazon Warrior for real. DC Chief Creative Officer and JL writer Geoff Johns says the relationship is legit, and "it will have an impact that reaches far beyond the ultimate power couple". For more info on the story, visit the source post at Comic Book Resources and DC Comics!

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Trailer 2 debuts!

Via Comic Book Resources, Marvel TV has released the very first trailer for Disney XD's second season of their popular animated series "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes"! In it we get a series of scenes teasing what's to come, including the return of old foes and the coming of enemies that are far bigger than what one mere hero can face. The real dilemma though is within the ranks of the Avengers themselves, as bigger threats loom over a war between two alien factions... And not everyone is who they seem to be. Expect costume changes and more hero and villains to appear... including The Red Hulk!? Be sure to see the trailer for yourselves after the jump!

A New Iron Man will appear in Invincible Iron Man #518

Apparently come the next few months, Tony Stark won't be Iron Man anymore.

Released by Marvel Comics and shared by Comic Book Resources and Comic Book Movie, the teaser above suggests that a new man will become the armored avenger, as Mr. Stark will resign following the Long Way Down storyline. What exactly happens in that event that forces Tony to give up becoming ol' shellhead is still a mystery, but writer Matt Fraction stated in an interview that he will make him leave the identity, and someone else will become the new Iron Man. Will it be one of his trusted confidants or close friends, or someone totally unexpected? Personally, the new armor looks a little too Tron-like for my tastes, but hopefully there's a good explanation for this. We'll just have to wait and find out when Invincible Iron Man #518 hits comic book stores and retail shops.

Marvel reveals Spider-Man's new costume for "Ends of the Earth"

Via their official website and Comic Book Resources, Marvel has revealed the full teaser poster showcasing Spider-Man's newest costume change for the upcoming new event in Amazing Spider-Man called "Ends of the Earth". Beginning with March's Amazing Spider-Man #682 (written by Dan Slott and which also commemorates Spidey's 50th Anniversary), the six issue event focuses on Spidey dealing with a new incarnation of the Sinister Six, with Doctor Octopus leading the pack and setting his sights on global domination. As a result, Peter Parker will be forced to go through drastic measures, and one such consequence is the debut of a new suit, which is viewable in the teaser itself.

Sad news just hit today, and for those who love all things Batman and everything related to his greatest arch-nemesis, The Joker, it's time to pause for a moment and remember a true legend in the world of comics.

Jerry Robinson, the man who is credited for the creation of The Clown Prince of Crime, passed away in his sleep at the age of 89 this Thursday, December 8. Blogsite NYC Graphic Novelists was the first to break the story, and soon many other comic book websites, including Newsarama and Comic Book Resources, followed with reports soon after.
