Old Man Logan #1: Berserker!

01.30.2016 – Wolverine has been dead since late 2014 and Marvel killed one of their flagship characters in comicbooks if you’re not keeping track. Now they have “Old Man Logan” an aging version of Wolverine that came from the future what the?! After the events of “Secret Wars” this wasn’t one of those series that you’ll expect. Yes, James Howlett has been dead encased in adamantium and was killed off in the “Death of Wolverine” saga how can you explain a long deceased mutant come back from the future? But the of course this is in the comicbooks and everything is possible in this medium that the idea of Logan coming back is from an alternate future. This time around he comes back with a fit of rage that only an “Old Man Logan” would do, but its unexplained how did he make it to the present time prior to the what dark future he came from. The narrative for this new series is that he came from the future where all the villains have figured it out and defeated the heroes from his time where he became a family man and a farmer.

The most definitive versions presented were at the height of the very first X-Men movies. Up until now Hugh Jackman has portrayed the character seven times in all X-Men related filmsas of this toy review.

Second Chances: The Wolverine!

While we all know that the X-Men: Origins Wolverine movie was bad, (in a bad way) really bad with the nauseating cliches and all too familiar narrative we are hoping that Wolverine will be able to redeem himself with this upcoming movie: The Wolverine.

Toy Sightings: The Wolverine!

06.16.2013 – More than a week ago The Wolverine merchandise has started appearing in toy stores across Metro Manila. Just like the being trained by the Japanese Samurai from Japan the toys slowly appeared on display. The upcoming film looks promising but “The Wolverine” merchandise particularly the 4 inch action figures where somewhat a little underwhelming which is similar to “The Amazing Spider-Man” that has lack in quality compared to when the X-Men Origins came out some five years ago.

The Wolverine One-Sheet Poster Preview!

09.24.2012 – The Wolverine is not coming out until July 26, 2013 and we have seen a lot of images being shown online but this one looks astonishingly bad ass. Yes… We like to use the word to tell you how fit is Mr. Jackman in this photo.

Sometime tonight someone might be in hurry to share this but as patiently and giddy to see the man in his all-claw glory this must be one of the most promising movies to expect by next year. Why not? We could be hearing women screaming already…

The Untold Manga Series in Wolverine: Prodigal Son!

08.04.2012 – Wolverine is an iconic character who first appeared in the Giant X-Men #1 comic book along with new members of the mutants. He’s Canadian only known for the name Logan and practically everyone has known already his real name James Howlett revealed in the Origin graphic novel written by Bill Jemas, Joe Quesada, and Paul Jenkins. The art was illustrated by Andy Kubert with colors by Richard Isanove which was released originally as a mini-series from 2001-2002.

X-Men Divide and Reform into Two Teams in "Regenesis" come October!

After the events of the X-Men storyline "Schism" conclude and Uncanny X-Men ends with issue #544 on September, a (predictable) reboot will ensue and we will see the birth of two new X-Men comic series come October - namely Wolverine and the X-Men #1 and Uncanny X-Men #1!

Obviously, the split after schism is very real, with Wolverine will be leading his own team of merry mutants (with the new book taking its name after the 2008 animated series "Wolverine and the X-Men"), while Scott Summers/ Cyclops builds his own group in the relaunched "Uncanny X-Men" series. It's not known who's going to who's roster thus far, but the poster above seems to hint (or mislead) us at who will be at Wolverine's team or Cyclops' team. Safe bet is by the time Schism ends, we'll know what the full rosters of both will be.

Overall, it's very reminiscent of the Avengers split after Civil War (with New Avengers and Mighty Avengers), and we'll see a rivalry form between the two teams I bet. For more insight and info on the story, visit the source pots at Marvel.com or Newsarama!
