For the very first time you get all four characters immortalize. Namely the four actors in likeness of Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, and Ernie Hudson. Mattel has finally secured four likeness rights, that haunted fans for years. The reason for the absence of the "Real" Ghost Busters in the cartoon.
Over the years there where a lot of rumors regarding actor Bill Murray on the holdout to give the rights for his likeness. There are some who suggested it was Dan Akroyd, but that's back then. Now that Mattel got it all a few years ago this is your chance to cross streams in your living room.
But if you don't buy these, Mattel will use that as an excuse to never make the originals. You don't want to see Sigourney Weaver making out with Rick Moranis in such an awkward manner right?
