| 06.29.2019 – The 1980s was the golden era of modern pop culture in the 20th Century with properties introduced from animation, movies, videogames, and merchandise. In that era, there are two of those properties introduced in cinema and television that continues to be relevant in other forms of media.
Ghostbusters and Transformers have built upon the cult following with their respective brands that still are marketable and after thirty-five years has been relevant. But what if both of these properties put together a “Collaborative” symbiosis that gives birth to something fresh and out of this world? Early in 2019’s New York International Toy Fair Hasbro revealed what would be a tie-up with that property and that is with the Ghostbusters brand introducing a newly created Transformers character inspired with the elements of Ghostbusters that would become the Autobot Ectotron that turns into the iconic Ecto-1. A few months forward to today with IDW Publication revealing that there’s going to be a crossover mini-series featuring these two brands that presented Ectotron! |

Ashton Kutcher the next Ghostbuster?
| 02.24.2011- Ashton Kutcher could possibly be part of the upcoming Ghost Buster film. So far the news is that Bill Murray has not yet signed on to film the third "Ghost Busters", since he had not apporved of the of the script. Ashton Kutcher, who could be one of the new recruits as mentioned by Ivan Reitman. The director just recently had work with Kutcher in "No Strings Attached", and they had an awesome experience making the film. Apparently, at this point the only thing missing to complete the roster of the original cast is Bill Murray. |

Bill Murray dons the Venkman suit once more at the 2010 Scream Awards!
Much like Michael J. Fox reprising his role of Marty McFly for a brief Back To The Future homage trailer for the Spike TV Scream awards, actor Bill Murray came out to wild cheers and fangasms, as he stepped into the Scream Awards dressed in full Ghostbusters attire, reprising his role as the egotistical headman of the group, Peter Venkman!
As seen in a post in Slash Film, this snapshot taken by Chris Pizzello shows Murray accepting the award for "Best Horror Movie" in the 2010 Scream awards for the horror comedy flick "Zombieland", in which he has a small role in. That aside, dressing as Venkman again has got to be one of the most awesome things Bill has done for his fans. Is it a sign that he'll be appearing in the much awaited Ghostbusters III? Hehe, we'll just have to wait and see.
