Fables II: Toy2R's QEE Hobbe!

Toy2R is for designer toys and they released one of the interesting characters from the world of Fables II.

A Hobbe is a character described as Nasty, brutish, and short, and roams the countryside, preying on travelers and spiriting away the children of the unwary. This is quite an interesting creature that the Qee version looks harmless and appears more kid friendly opposite its videogame counterpart.

The Hobbe is packaged in a re-sealable bubble card back similar to the Japanese toys packaged in this similar concept.







Originally this was no ordinary release as it was intended as part the Collector's Edition when the Fables II game first came out, which offers more than the standard version, as the Collectible Hobbe QEE part of the special game edition with its own accessories.

These accessories include a chicken leg and frying pan, which the Hobbe mini figure is having minor difficulty holding them in each hand. The design is inspired from the Hobbe character of the said game colored in gray skin and wearing brown shorts. The back card is easily slides off the bubble packaging for easy removal of the figure.







Hobbe is a small figure but not as small as a LEGO minifigure, but adorable enough to be part of your office display with his accessories. The figure has 5 basic articulation joints from arms, legs and head. Details of his chicken leg appear to be uncooked and his frying pan comes in toned down silver. Toy2R made this figure based from their popular QEE art toy that featured other license brands.

Hobbe is not entirely limited in release as this was found being sold in pop up clearance store by Toys R’ US express in the Philippines for PhP 30.00 pesos ($0.68 US Dollars).

It would have been more interesting if Toy2R released other characters based from Fables II, but since the game was released in a special edition to include Hobbe is unique enough to have.
