In Asia Bandai owns the license to produce the action figures, toys and rare figurines which hasn’t changed in a VERY long time. Godzilla is a huge marketing brand that some are actually into collecting all its iteration. The kaiju from Japan simply would dominate the box office with its interesting story when it hits cinemas this summer.
The toys are a different story how the character is represented itself. Though you might have a mix reaction when you see this merchandise, but also depend on how excited are you in seeing the actual film.
Bandai has finally released in the toys and they where sighted in Toy Town, Toys R’ Us, Toy Kingdom and other department stores in the Philippines. Its too early to see if there’s anyone would pick up these interesting play sets, that sometimes reveal the plot of the film which could spoil you.
For those who hasn’t had any idea about the upcoming Godzilla there might be potential spoilers in the toys, but for those who are bothered about it check out the images taken when they where sighted four days ago…
Godzilla opening across the Philippines on May 15, 2014, the film is expected to be presented in 3D, 2D and IMAX® in select theatres and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, except in Japan, where it will be distributed by Toho Co., Ltd.
