| 09.23.2014 – COLLECTICON is back on its 7th year for 2014! The organizers of the highly successful TAGCOM brings back one of the original precursor of popular culture conventions related to comics, videogames, and toys.
This weekend expect SM Megamall’s Megatrade Hall to attract huge numbers of mall goers to check out some exclusives never seen on retail. This is also an event to interact with local communities who are into collectibles and be part of the annual convention. |
For this year COLLECTICON promotes the Filipino-based artists who broke through the US comics industry and made a name carrying the country’s pride. They also have local artists who independently publish their works that will also take part on mini-panels. The guest artists will also sign and make cover sketches at the designated area.

COLLECTICON also acknowledges their visitors to be part of the fan going experience attending their event. They also announced that for each ticket purchase entitles for one entry to be able a chance to win and take home a ¼ scale Spider-Man statue from independent company Halimaw Sculptures!
This event is also have something for the geekiest fan to take part of Pinoy Toy Kolektor’s Marvel Division Trivia Challenge and details of the contest can be read below with the poster:
