There have been many toy-related events held in the Philippines. Big or small, their impact on the growth of the local toy industry keeps the general public's interest patronizing the hobby for the next generation who have grown with videogames from mobile phones to handheld gaming consoles. Truly, the interest in toys has shifted with emerging technologies, but that doesn’t stop those pre-internet kids, who are now adults continue to appreciate the nostalgia of physical toys that are now parents re-introducing the interest to their children. Mike Zeck Signing Event Announced

02.04.2020 – Mike Zeck is heading to Manila which is scheduled to have his first local signing event at Comic Odyssey this month. It will be a very busy Saturday for Zeck being an international comicbook artist to make the visit to the Philippines. He’s well known in the industry for his work with Marvel Comics on such series as Captain America, Marvel Super-Heroes Secret Wars, Master of Kung-Fu, and The Punisher as well as the "Kraven's Last Hunt" storyline in the Spider-Man titles.

04. 17. 2015 - Star Wars Celebration kick off its first ever live streaming event in 23 countries including in the Philippines early this morning that revealed what to look forward to the upcoming Star Wars 7th episode saga known as “The Force Awakens.” It was almost past midnight as those who traveled far away made it to the IMAX Theater as the anticipation grows. There is something phenomenal about Star Wars that transcends across the world and it was best time to be a fan from a galaxy far far away!

Reed Exhibitions Acquires Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention!

04.13.2010 - Reed Exhibitions, the world’s leading organizer of trade and consumer events, has today announced that it has acquired the Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention (STGCC) from local toy designer and manufacturer Play Imaginative (PI). STGCC was launched in 2008 and operated by local event planner PI Events, a subsidiary of PI. STGCC doubled in size at its second showing in 2009 and went from a 2-day event to a 3-day event, including a full day of conference sessions. The last STGCC took place in August, 2009. The next STGCC will take place from December 10-12, 2010 at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre (www.suntecsingapore.com)...
