Secret Fresh + SpongeBob | CT's Sponge Boy

Closing out the collaboration between Secret Fresh and SpongeBob to celebrate its twentieth anniversary is the much awaited and anticipated works from Christian Tamondong. This collaboration has been laid out that featured artists in a group show followed by solo show with Ronald Ventura, and finally with Christian Tamondong.

The SpongeBob event is not just a solo art show, but also a launch of clothing and apparel collection and exclusive toys that featuring Christina Tamondong’s works. It was unexpected changes to the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic that there was no artist reception but the gallery was unveiled.


This was supposed culmination of the partnership with Viacom Asia, the licensee of the SpongeBob SquarePants brand and it did push through although celebration halted mass gatherings that changed the set up for the event. The gallery had an early close by 6 PM and most of the merchandise since they announced availability was an immediate sold out with the first two basic shirts and hoodies.

The exhibit did not have much guests but for those who made it early in the morning was fortunate enough to see the artworks and the four exclusive toys designed and hand sculpted by Christian Tamondong that turned up to be Secret Fresh first ever porcelain art toy produced in limited quantities.
