Marvel NOW! Iron Man #1 Cover and info revealed

Marvel.com and Bleeding Cool have revealed the cover and confirmed the creative team behind their upcoming Marvel NOW! relaunch of "Iron Man #1", which will be written by Kieron Gillen and drawn by Greg Land! Through interviews and a Q& A session which can be read at Marvel.com, the creative team goes down to teasing the process of how the new relaunched title's going to play out, and it's confirmed that Tony Stark will once again be donning the armored suit after the current run saw his partner and best friend James "Rhodey" Rhodes taking over in his stead. First official look on Sci-Fi Revoltech War Machine!

Marvelousnews and Big Bad Toy Store.com have officially posted a clear scanned image and details on Japan's Sci-Fi Revoltech line release of War Machine, aka Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes and the best friend/ partner of Tony Stark, aka the Invincible Iron Man! This version of War Machine is based on his appearance on the 2010 film "Iron Man 2", and acts as the follow up to Sci-Fi Revoltech's release of the Mark VI and Mark IV armors of Iron Man from the same movie. Designated as Sci-Fi Revoltech #031, War Machine comes packing with heavy firepower, articulation, and props, so this baby's going to fly well with your Iron Man collection if you have any! Iron Man 2.0 #4 debuts War Machine's new look

Marvel.com has just posted the new look and upgrade James "Rhodey" Rhodes will be getting via his best friend Tony Stark in the pages of the upcoming new ongoing series, "Iron Man 2.0". Plot details and summaries released by the House of Ideas revealed that Rhodey will make the upgrade out of necessity to overcome a dangerous threat coming his way in his new ongoing series. What or who that is remains a mystery, but one things for sure... This is the new Iron Man 2.0. Take a look.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of what I see here. True, Rhodey stood in and took over for Stark once before as Iron Man, but he's made a separate name for himself over the years as War Machine, and what I see here is an attempt to blend the two personas into one, and it just doesn't work for me. War Machine should have shoulder cannons and heavy weapons attached to the armor, and this new suit just strips him down to make him a palette swap version of Iron Man (hence the name Iron Man 2.0 I guess). Unless Rhodey is getting the "Extremis" or "Bleeding Edge" treatment in the storyline to come, I'm not happy with the results. It's like they took the concept of the Mark II upgraded to War Machine in Iron Man II and did the reverse. For more on the story, you can read the rest of the details over at Marvel.com.

Iron Man | Movie Series War Machine!

09.02.2010 - Iron Man 2 was a block buster flick this recent summer, and was a hit that will spawn a third film. But before that the Avengers coming in 2012 would be the movie to see with Iron Man. If you where not tuned in to online news during SDCC 2010 then your an egg to call yourself a geek.

So far personal reservations to the film is just so-so as compared to the original film that was shown in 2008. But who would avoid watching the War Machine kick some serious ass in the big screen?
