Seeing this over at Kotaku, I can just imagine and feel the excitement building up for Tekken fans waiting for this package! Bandai Namco is going to grace its fanbase with a combo release like no other: Tekken Hybrid! This special edition Blu-Ray disc will include the 3D release of the CG animated movie Tekken: Blood Vengeance, and will also deliver some High Definition nostalgic gaming in the rereleased for of Tekken Tag Tournament HD! Mark Wahlberg is Nathan Drake in the Uncharted movie!

Seems like gamers looking forward to the Uncharted film adaptation finally have their lead... and it's an actor who's been in an action movie and videogame role before.

According to a post in Screen Rant, Mark Wahlberg has landed the coveted role of playing protagonist Nathan "Nate" Drake in the Uncharted movie based on the first game - Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (which I coincidentally got earlier this week as part of my old game collection package!). The film, based on the Playstation 3 video game series of the same name, depicts the character as a modern day treasure hunter in an action adventure/ third person shooter of a game that has death-defying stunts and thrills similar to an Indiana Jones or Die Hard flick. In fact, Nate Drake's character appearance is modeled after Jackass star Johnny Knoxville, so you can see where all stuntman looking resemblance comes from.

With the news of Mark Wahlberg being cast in the role of Nate, I don't know what to feel at this point. I totally respect the actor, and he's a fine one at that, but I just don't see the Nathan Drake persona resonate from him. Heck, Marky Mark played Max Payne in the 2008 film adaptation of the video game of the same name, and that didn't really meet expectations of the fans at all. Let's hope that the star of such films as The Departed and Shooter will be able to pull this role off. The film, based on the first game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, will be helmed by director David O. Russell, with Joe Pesci ad Robert De Niro also slated to star alongside Mr. Wahlberg. NYCC 2010: Konami's X-men arcade game coming to PSN and XBL!

Yes, you heard right! X-MEN!XD

Revealed at the end of Marvel's video game panel over at the New York Comic-Con, the classic X-men arcade game developed by Konami in 1992 will FINALLY make its way home and over to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 via Playstation Network(PSN) and Xbox Live!(XBL) respectively! Known for allowing two to six players simultaneously depending on the arcade machine, the beat 'em up X-men game was a classic for its time, and is still memorable for its hilarious dialogue and speech! Check out the intro and gameplay just to see how it was and will be when it reaches consoles!

Meet The Brother Of God Of War's Kratos... Deimos!!!

Leonidas?! Nah. This guy may look like Gearard Butler's character in 300, but he's actually the brother of God Of War's main protagonist, Kratos, and his name is Deimos!

According to Kotaku and the official Playstation Blog, Deimos will be a downloadable skin that can be used in God Of War III in the PS3, available to those who purchase early copies of the upcoming PSP title, God Of War: Ghost Of Sparta! Unlike his well-known brother, Deimos will sport "enhanced combat damage and the ability to receive 4x the amount of Health, Magic, and God Orbs. Sounds like a mighty incentive worthy of a true Spartan player, and good enough reason to replay God Of War III again!
