Sights & Highlights: Kick-Ass 2 PH Press Media Screening!

08.13.2013 – Kick-Ass 2 the sequel to Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.’s hit comic book series is finally is coming out kin the big screen. The much awaited film had a special press media screening at the newly renovated cinema at the Promenade Mall. The upcoming film in the Philippines is taking advantage of the first Dolby Atmos sound of the theater even though Kick-Ass 2 is not using it. The invited press got to experience the sound technology by seeing upcoming films that’s using Dolby Atmos at the same time seeing how the theater shows the difference.

Sights & Highlights: Oblivion Press Media Screening!

04.08.2013 – Oblivion has a special press media screening which was held earlier at the IMAX Theater in the SM Mall of Asia. We got the opportunity to see the film a few days before the local screen date. The film definitely looks promising as it has Tom Cruise in a starring role and like any science fiction themed feature this looks something new to see. Oblivion is actually based from an unpublished graphic novel by the same name that was actually to be made as a film.

Sights & Highlights: The Hobbit Press Media Viewing!

12.13.2012 – Last night was the Press Media screening of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey directed by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings Trilogy) and the Philippine Tolkien Society was present to help promote the special viewing of the film. The event was held at the IMAX Theater in SM Mall of Asia where celebrities and personalities was exclusively invited to see the world of Middle-Earth that Tolkien has created. The anticipated film was screening in HFR 3D (High Frame Rate).

The Dark Knight Rises Philippine Premiere!

07.19.2012 – The Dark Knight Rises has finally descended in the Philippines when Warner Bros. Pictures had a very special press media screening last night at the Coca-Cola IMAX Theater at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. The press from various media in print, television and online converge to witness the epic saga come full circle from Director Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale in a titular role. What considered a masterpiece that others tried to emulate and change the way we see super heroes in the big screen has finally ended.
