| 11.15.2013 – If you haven’t gotten second wind of The LEGO® Movie trailer you might have blinked not seeing it. The animated feature film was the directed by the same people behind Cloudy with the Chance of Meatballs.
This could probably a first for LEGO® to bring their brick building toys to life that might tie-up everything they have in their property. It’s led by virtually an unknown character that you might call an unsung hero for the next generation. |

The Dark Knight Rises: "The Legend Ends..." Teaser Poster
December is a big month for fans of Christopher Nolan and Batman. It heralds the release of the much anticipated prologue of "The Dark Knight Rises" with IMAX screenings of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. It also saw the rise of the viral marketing campaign for the movie by Warner Bros, plotting down clues and various interactive material for fans to decipher in order to learn information related to the movie (and in the case of Operation: Early Bird, the locations of early screenings of the prologue).
Now, as mentioned months before and to probably usher in the debut of the new trailer sometime this month, Warner Bros. has released the newest poster for The Dark Knight Rises, and it signals the coming of Bane (played by Tom Hardy), and the end of an era that started in 2005 and skyrocketed with an awesome sequel in 2008. Take a look at the one sheet!
Very nice, and it echoes the promise of Bane "breaking the bat" ala the classic Batman storyline "Knightfall", where The Dark Knight's spine was broken by the brute. It follows the style of the past Nolan Batman movie posters, and is quite epic-looking indeed. For more info, check out the source post at SuperHeroHype!
The Dark Knight Rises and legends end on July 20, 2012!

Blogged over at the interwebz and posted for analysis over at Screen Rant, a promotional merchandising poster for Marvel Studios' upcoming 2012 superhero team flick "The Avengers" was shown at this year's Licensing International Expo over at Los Angeles. Thor Update: Two more "Helmet" posters surface!
I'll admit, the helmets look nice and all, but I can see the reason why they may appear only on key moments in the film as suggested by the trailers. They're not totally necessary, but it's an extra accessory that'll please fans used to the signature looks of the characters in the comics. For more info, visit the source posts at Coming Soon and Slash Film.

Two new international posters for Thor debut!
With the impending release of the Thor movie close on the horizon, Marvel and Paramount Pictures saw it fit to release new posters in the international market that not only promote the God of Thunder's story, but also see him look more badass in one of them! As seen in Slash Film, here are the two new international posters. The first sees the head shot of Thor we've become familiar with in the "Red Rage" and "Banner" sheets, but now Chris Hemsworth is accompanied by the other key players seen in the banner poster, with the exception of Loki, who gets his mugshot inserted here for the first time, all above a display of Thor rallying his Asgardian troops from one of the key scenes featured in the first trailer. Judge for yourself after seeing it below.
Truth be told, it's a neat looking poster in itself, but it doesn't compare to the second and most impressive one yet... well, between the two at least!

Second poster looks cool, but I'm sure more are on the way! For more info, visit the source post over at Slash Film!

A new poster and a new banner debuts for Thor!
With two months to go before it shows in theaters, Marvel and Paramount have released two new images for their first superhero flick this year, Thor! Both shown and revealed in IGN as well as featured in Slash Film, first up is a new poster, featuring a mugshot of actor Chris Hemsworth in character and costume, with the entire image draped in a hue of red, and the words "The God Of Thunder" placed right smack in the middle before the logo to remind viewers of who exactly this man is.
If that wasn't enough, Marvel and Paramount have also released a banner featuring mugshots of not only Thor himself, but also of other prominent characters in the movie, namely Odin, Jane Foster, and Heimdall, combined together to form the main "THOR" logo itself. It looks like the movie's building up to be an epic superhero flick, so stay tuned for more updates. For more details on these images, visit the source posts over at IGN and Slash Film!
