Now it totally makes sense why the costume was changed. It truly is A NEW ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN, and those who would avoid Spoilers better do so now. SPOILER MODE IS ON.
Straight out of a tweet and post by USA Today, Marvel has revealed who the new Ultimate Spider-Man is... and it's NOT a resurrected Peter Parker or an old face from the books either. No, it's someone completely new, and the news will serve as SPOILER fodder for those who want to shy away from it. This is the BIG revelation that comes out of this week's Ultimate Fallout #4, which introduces us to the new guy who'll be carrying the webslinger's legacy.
The new Ultimate Spider-Man is a kid named Miles Morales. He enters the picture in Ultimate Fallout #4 to stop a fight. He's a half-black, half-hispanic kid who takes over Peter Parker's role as the new webhead hero, but as to how he got his powers and became the new Spidey still remains a mystery. All that will be answered in September's relaunch of Ultimate Spider-Man #1. For more info on the story, visit the source post at Bleeding Cool, Newsarama, and USA Today.
