07.13.2012 – San Diego Comic-Con International has not broken the ice in some major announcements and unveiling.
But some notable shows had held some panels like Dark Matters: Twisted But True with Fringes’ John Noble as its narrator and then we have Rodenberry’s Trek Nation. Singapore-based GeekMatic correspondent Island Diva of Red Dot Diva reports about the upcoming season 2 of Science Channel’s Dark Matters which premieres sometime in August. |
She was present at John Noble’s panel for Dark Matters. Prior to her trip to the Dark Matters panel she met up some mutant turtles along the way.
Dark Matters: Twisted But True takes you inside the laboratory to profile strange science and expose some of history's most bizarre experiments.
The show is hosted by John Noble (Lord of the Rings, Fringe, and Transformers: Prime), the series delves into the most unusual research ever conducted, including attempts to crossbreed humans and apes, actual zombie investigations and head transplantation studies.
Cutting-edge CGI recreations enable viewers to witness the pivotal moments when brilliant minds face controversy or ethical crossroads on the fringes of science.
The new season debuts in August and he was present along with two producers at the panel talking about the show and its goal. The Island Diva even got some signed material from Mr. Noble.
Rodenberry’s Trek Nation was at Comic-Con for their panel talking about the Star Trek fandom and their first appearance at SDCC showed the Roddenberry documentary which is now available on digital download via iTunes, vudu, X Box Live, and Youtube. It’s one of the highlights for the day that RDD had made coverage.
