| 04.22.2014 – tokidoki is a lifestyle brand inspired from Japanese culture by Italian artist Simone Legno in 2005 with business partners Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnold. Legno mostly is the man you’ll see in conventions promoting the brand.
The company produces apparel, footwear, accessories and other products using art, iconic characters and the tokidoki logo designed by Simone Legno. This will be a first collaboration with Vinyl on Vinyl for this upcoming event this weekend. If you happened to be within the vicinity of The Collective you’ll not going to miss this! |
It’s been long planned event and this will be another big one for Vinyl on Vinyl since Gary Baseman came to town when he held his first solo show with the art gallery.
The lifestyle brand is not entirely unfamiliar as previously some of the products where seen being sold at SM department stores, which quickly disappeared from store shelves and two years ago a store named Red Nimbus carried almost the entire line of products.
But for the first time tokidoki collaborates with Vinyl on Vinyl for its first ever solo show featuring local graffiti and street artists teaming up with the famous lifestyle brand happening this Saturday at Vinyl on Vinyl Art Gallery and see the promotional poster below:
