First Look: Josh Trank's "Fantastic Four!"

03.20.2015 – Josh Trank’s vision of the upcoming “Fantastic Four” film has been in the radar being talked about, but not enough details on what its current iteration. During its principal photography there were only a few images revealed.

The fans that have been following the comic books as well as the two previous films, and they where surprised about the direction for this reboot. This might not be news for some but 20th Century Fox has finally released some interesting images...

Jollibee Kids Meal 2015: SpongeBob Aqua Heroes!

03.18.2015 – “SpongeBob SquarePants: Sponge Out of Water” is set to invade the Philippines with the rest of Asia and Australia following its successful release in the US last month. Your favorite characters from Nickelodeon’s hit series are coming!

To celebrate the release of the sequel to the 2004 original animated movie Jollibee, the Philippines famous fast food restaurant is featuring these characters as their Kids Meal!

"Home" of Collectibles, Meal Toys & Merchandise!

03.16.2015 – “Home” the latest 3D animated feature from DreamWorks is about to be shown this month and before it begins its theatrical release there was already considerable promotion that includes collectible merchandise, meal toys, and figurines.

This has become a staple in other 3D animations produced by DreamWorks and its rival Disney which also includes other properties based from other forms of media. But considering “Home” is one of those rare originals that get a lot of campaigns.

03.16.2015 – King Arthur’s story is the stuff of legends through folklore and literary invention. It has been adapted into books and other forms of media.

Acclaimed filmmaker Guy Ritchie brings his dynamic style to an original King Arthur epic, a sweeping fantasy action adventure starring Charlie Hunnam (FX’s “Sons of Anarchy”), for Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures. Principal photography has begun at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, UK.

Five Elements of "Cinderella!"

03.15.2015 – Walt Disney Studios’ “Cinderella” is already being shown in Philippine cinemas and the rest of Asia. It reintroduced this classic Disney animated feature from 1950 for the new generation represented in live-action directed by Kenneth Branagh.

The film features Lily James as “Cinderella”, James Madison as “Prince ‘KIT’ Charming”, Cate Blanchett as “Lady Tremaine” and Helena Bonham Carter as “The Fairy Godmother.” An impressive cast list but more ever its deep story about the film.

Dragons Nest Warriors' Dawn Released New Posters!

03.15.2015 – If you’re familiar with Dragons Nest a fantasy MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) then you might be anticipating the upcoming CG 3D animated film.

The long wait is over, the English version of the worldwide online game phenomenon “Dragon Nest” is about to be experienced in the upcoming first of a trilogy of animation in “Dragon Nest: Warrior’s Dawn” this March 18th.

Axinite Digicinema the Philippine distributor has released two posters that you might see in local theaters.

“Dragon Nest: Warrior’s Dawn” is from Mili Pictures, the first major animated feature from China aimed at world audiences and marks a breakthrough for the Chinese animation industry and will entertain audiences all over the world at the same time that it opens a door for more Chinese animated features soon to come. The picture garnered rave reviews during its Chinese release in July 2014 and established Mili as the leading player in Chinese animation.

Thunderbirds Are Definitely Go!

03.14.2015 – The Thunderbirds gets introduced as a new series no longer marionettes which originated the 1960s series, but CG animation produced by ITV Studios & Pukeko Pictures, with effects by Weta Workshop.

This reintroduces the Tracy brothers (Scott, John, Virgil, Gordon, & Alan), Brains, Lady Penelope and Parker, Grandma Tracy, The Hood & Tintin (renamed Kayo) and a new addition to the series a female character named Colonel Casey.

Three Things to see at TAGCOM 2015!

03.14.2015 – The annual “Toys and Hobbies Convention” generally known as TAGCOM is happening on March 21 to 22, 2015 at the Megatrade Hall in SM Megamall. From its first event in 2005 TAGCOM has grown to just another toy event.

Sights & Highlights: "Cinderella" Press Night!

03.12.2015 – Cinderella press media night was held in selected parts in Asia. On the same night India held their event at the same time in the Philippines was an exclusive to SM North Edsa, which was held at The Block cinema.

Both countries held a star studded affair and the Philippine press media night to promote the release of Cinderella did not disappoint.

It’s also partnered with local TV network ABS-CBN’s variety show ASAP where personalities have descended to see the film.

Steve Martin The Cowardly Alien in "Home!"

03.12.2015 – Sometimes not all aliens are good, but most of all they are quite a lot of species that certainly in question to believe. There’s one alien that definitely stands out and that one was voiced by Jim Parsons and then there’s another one you might despise.

In the new family film, “Home,” from DreamWorks Animation, Steve Martin is the voice of Captain Smek, the vain and weak leader of an alien race called Boov. They land on Earth and take over the planet.

Dinosaurs' Earl Sinclair is The Notorious B.I.G.!

03.11.2015 – If you’ve grown up in the 1990s chances are besides The Simpsons you also catch up watching Dinosaurs. It’s a live action family sitcom which was aired in the US channel ABC and overseas in selected countries.

It features of course anthropomorphic dinosaurs portrayed by puppets. So it features a family of dinos headed by the patriarch Megalosaurus named Earl Sneed Sinclair. If you’ve known a certain Homer J. Simpson then you should know Earl Sinclair.

03.11.2015 – What does Fifty Shades of Grey, The Terminator Genesys, & Jurassic World has in common? The answer is none but their theatrical posters have been parodied by the upcoming 3D animated feature in “SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Sponge Out of Water!

The Avengers Movie Series: Hawkeye!

03.10.2015 – Action figures these days has been on a decline with comes to quality much so the interest is now being marketed now straightforward to its “Age 5 & Up” category, while expanding the product that would also cater to collectors.

When Marvel’s Avengers was about to be released in cinemas Hasbro released their “3.75 inch” figures, but it was not easily accepted due to the quality of the figures having them include oversized weaponry. Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye was one of them figures that didn’t actually look like the actor, but still everyone bought it to build the Avengers.

All-New Hawkeye #1: Wunderkammer!

03.08.2015 – It’s okay to be late but not too late wrapping things up before starting fresh. Comic books these days have a quick turn over when it comes to creative teams moving to other projects that the publisher starts with a new #1.

It has become a common thing for this to happen these days that it can be compared to basketball players moving to other teams unless your Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowizki or Tim Duncan. But the analogy is there explaining with Matt Fraction and David Aja’s run for 22 issues and an annual was something to appreciate how they brought Hawkeye t prominence in almost three years.

Now All-New Hawkeye #1 is finally out and you’re wondering if Fraction and Aja’s run is over. Yes it is and the culmination of making Hawkeye an interesting read will finally bow out next month.

Whovians Invade Great British Festival!

03.01.2015 – The Great British Festival this year was an instant hit catering to fans and visitors at the Bonifacio High Street. The entire commercial district was all out British from food, cars, art and culture that defined the three-day event a monumental success.

If the preview of the event a few days prior to the big day was not enough to excite you the installation of famous landmarks, which includes popular television shows such as Games of Thrones and Doctor Who certainly brought more than just an attraction.
