Halloween Comic Fest at Greenlight Comics!

10.31.2017 – Halloween Comic Fest is a global event happening all over the world. It’s the first time doing coverage for this event overseas namely in South Australia with Greenlight Comics and Gamma Rays Comics as the shops to pick free comics. It’s unfortunate that back in the Philippines since its inception in 2012 the event was cancelled due to delayed shipment, but will bounce back for “Justice League Day” two weeks from now. In South Australia Halloween Comic Fest was highly presented by Greenlight Comics with more activities that happened this recent weekend.

Halloween Comic Fest 2014: Give Comics Instead of Candy!

10.01.2014 – The Halloween Comic Fest is just around of the corner this month and this is on its third year that will be held all over the world. Diamond Comic Distributors the same people behind Free Comic Book Day is back. The Halloween Comic Fest an annual event surrounding the themed celebration has a new advocacy in giving away FREE comic books instead of Candies.

Halloween Comic Fest 2014 Full & Mini Comic Reveal!

08.09.2014 – Halloween Comic Fest is coming and for the year in a row Diamond Comic Distributions has revealed new titles that’s going to focus on the festive season taking you back to the early days of the industry that features horror and suspense. There will be comic book titles for the young and old, but mostly Halloween Comic Fest focuses on the younger audience unlike the established Free Comic Book Day. However HCF is more celebrated for its theme for the Halloween and there will be some surprises.

10.27.2013 – Halloween Comic Fest in the Philippines was received by parents, kids, and young adults who would dress up standing in line to get their free comic books. The events are organized by Comic Odyssey and Fully Booked. There were reports that people stood in line as early as Friday night at 11 PM. But there was no official confirmation that there was as compared to last summer’s Free Comic Books Day. The event is more organized now that regular customers of Comic Odyssey don’t need to stand in line to get their free comic books.

10.13.2013 – The 2nd annual Halloween ComicFest is just thirteen days to go and the build-up to this year is bigger now that Comic Odyssey collaborates with Fully Booked the same team who has brought to you this year’s successful Free Comic Book Day. Last year was an intimate event dedicated to the kids who went to Comic Odyssey’s store at the basement level of Robinsons Galleria. The event will have a Halloween costume contest but among those activities the free comic books are the main attraction that everyone will be lining up…

11.01.2012 – The FIRST Halloween Comic Fest is similar to the time Free Comic Book Day started in 2007 and Comic Odyssey made it possible again to make this event happen. There was no other comic shop in the Philippines who participated in this year’s event unlike Comic Odyssey. The celebrated annual Free Comic Book Day is not like the Halloween Comic Fest takes more effort & passion to dress up for the occasion.

10.09.2012 – Halloween is fast approaching and every year it has become an annual tradition to dress up in your scariest costume. The tradition for some never outgrows them as they still go on a trick or treat but this year it would become interesting as Halloween and Comics team up for the first ever Halloween Comic Fest 2012! It’s the same organizers behind the Free Comic Book Day that happens every first Saturday of May who are bringing this tradition and one comic book shop in the Philippines has already shown interest.
