Happy Meal Asia 2016: Kung Fu Panda 3!

03.13.2016 – To coincide with the release of “Kung Fu Panda 3”, McDonald’s has unveiled the Happy Meal for the month of March with its latest collectible. This has been announced a week prior the release of the 3D animated feature. The latest toys from McDonald’s Happy Meal are the third “Kung Fu Panda” collaboration dating back to the first film. The two previous animated feature action figures with gimmicks this time it involves connecting all characters in one great fun!

03.01.2016 – The Happy Meal release in the Philippines is slowly aligning itself to be a monthly release as to having new toys twice a month, where the second release covers the first half to the following calendar date and its all good for most collectors. The first toys where featuring TMNT that also have Winx. But for the month of February its latest toys are based on Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 Omniverse and My Little Pony Girls?!

Happy Meal PH 2015: Happy!

08.27.2015 – Happy finally makes it to Asia and the Philippines for late August/early September Happy Meal toy offered in the country. This was previously speculated early in May when Singapore first offered them bringing only eight variations. Happy has slowly appear in the Happy Meal displays early this year first sighted as an image together with the promotion for the DreamWorks Animation feature ‘Home’ and then followed with appearance in ‘Shaun the Sheep’ display. This continued, but was moved from behind the scenes to give way for The Minions promotion in July. But then, there was images of Happy as the next toy offered at McDonald’s yesterday as reported that it's already being sold somewhere in Quezon City. So far, no other McDonald’s store has been sighted until someone shared an image of ‘Happy’ toys on display at McDonald’s in Antipolo City.

04.18.2015 – If you’ve seen the classic claymation in “Wallace & Gromit” or the hilarious “Chicken Run” then you might have already heard about “Shaun The Sheep” from Aardman Animations LTD that’s heading to the big screen. McDonald’s Happy Meal tie-up to the upcoming film has been doing the rounds of promotion since early in March 2015 and its now the featured toys for this April with eight to collect its enough for one big party not only for a flock of sheep.

Happy Meal Asia Spotlight: Young Justice!

01.04.2013 – McDonald’s may yet have another set of DC Comics related toys that you’ll find to be interesting. If you have been following the hit series “Young Justice” surely you’ll be familiar with the characters by now. This was released in some parts of Asia including the Philippines paired up with Hello Kitty, which was originally released in the US much earlier in 2012 with a set of eight to collect. But due to how it’s marketed in Asia they only released four characters.
