Marvel 80 Years at SM | The Block Highlights

08.28.2019 – Marvel is celebrating its 80th year with a variety of celebration across all media platforms from animation, movies, videogames, and merchandising all over the world. The Philippines however is kicking it big an event that had a press launched yesterday in collaboration with SM Malls.

The event features everything Marvel has to offer with the appearance of Danny Koo, Marvel Game’s Senior Producer for Asia. He graced the event’s media day that capped off the an autograph signing and reveals showcased displays from local toy groups as well as soon-to-be revealed action figures from Hot Toys.

Dark Knight Rises This Halloween!

10.12.2014 – DC Comics year long celebration for Batman’s 75 Anniversary continues with the event that was being promoted at SM North Edsa’s The Block, where they featured merchandise, an interactive ride, clothing and apparel.

The event started on October 10th and will run through the 19th, where collectible figures and memorabilia featuring the cape crusader will be on exhibit. There are also individuals in costume dressed as popular characters from the Batman mythology.

tokidoki + The Block: Simone Legno Live Art!

04.27.2014 – Simone Legno had a live art session at The Block Atrium in SM North Edsa. This is part of the collaboration between tokidoki and SM Supermalls, which will open a tokidoki store very soon.

This is the first time Legno did a live art at one of the biggest malls in the Philippines. He had the program started at 4PM where a group of audience witnessed his live art. Besides the live art, if you purchase any tokidoki product all proceeds will go to SM Cares.

SM City North Edsa Launches tokidoki!

04.26.2014 – The Block Atrium was transformed into Simone Legno’s imagination where all his creation flourishes like a wonderland. This place is known as tokidoki a brand build by Italian artist Simone Legno inspired by Japanese culture.

The brand is finally unveiled yesterday to a huge audience who witness Legno stepped on stage talking to host Sanya Smith while one of his creations Adios mesmerized the guests. SM North Edsa’s The Block pulled all the stops for this launch.
