09.02.2012 – The exclusive for STGCC 2012 has been revealed and the first day was a welcoming sight for first time and regular visitors of the Pop Culture Event in Asia. Hot Toys is turning up the heat in the red dot island with their line-up of collectible figures.
The media preview day revealed for the first time some of the figures that will be officially available during STGCC and convention exclusives are not the only highlight for this event this also features the guests namely the toy designers who made these wonderful and well detailed collectibles. |
The Hot Toys booth is one of the centerpieces for this year’s STGCC and definitely you won’t miss the huge arm of the Hulk busting the wall. You’ll notice that inside the heart of the display is The Bat from the Dark Knight Rises. Notice the area is divided for DC and Marvel Entertainment as well as other licensed brands that they acquired to produce.
In the other side of the booth you’ll a diorama re-enacted from the blockbuster film in The Avengers with some of the unreleased figures like the Hulk that towers among the other figures that was previously released.
You’ll see two Batmobiles from the original 1966 Batman TV show as well as the one from 1989 that has Michael Keaton under the cowl. Something you don’t see in Philippine conventions this definitely put STGCC on the map for being true to their tagline: “The Pop Culture Event in Asia” not entirely focused too much on the toys but also puts a spotlight on the people behind the production of these expensive toys.
If you missed the first day then see the second day here some photos of the Hot Toys booth where you can find those interesting upcoming action figures as well as first-time released figures not seen in previous conventions…
