Book Launch: Geekology 101 by Jay Tablante!

10.11.2012 – Jay Tablante broke into the scene with his unique way of promoting photography by making well known personalities pose into superheroes which earned him a cult following for this kind of interest.



A self-confessed geek that most of his portfolio pays homage to the superheroes from his childhood hence they become part of his subject in his works. He has been present to conventions most often seen with the models who he had a shoot with for a project.

Jay collaborated with radio/DJ model Jinri Park to release her first Gravure book which earned a following for the Philippine-based Korean.

This time around after 7 years of making a career for himself Jay Tablante earns his keep of working hard to produce his own in “Geekology 101: The Cosplay Photography of Jay Tablante” which will be launched on October 20, 2012 at the National Book Store in Greenlanes Arcade, Greenhills Shopping Center.

The book launch will be hosted by Jinri Park and there will be a meet and greet with cover girl and Filipina international cosplayer turned TV personality Alodia Gosiengfiao.



This is a way for Jay to give back to the community and to everybody who have supported us in this pop culture craziness over the years.

Geekology 101: The Cosplay Photography by Jay Tablante is priced at PhP 345.00 pesos will be launched on October 20, 2012. All book royalties would be donated to charity. This time, it would benefit Canon's Print for Smiles, which funds Operation Smile.
