Teaser Trailer: Star Trek Into Darkness!

12.06.2012 – A few days after J.J. Abrams has revealed the teaser poster for the next Star Trek Sequel the teaser has been released on iTunes earlier today. The clip reveals a different villain as assumed by many as Khan but revealed to be Benedict Cumberbatch’s unspecified villain.



The details of the film’s plot and premise was unofficially deciphered on Bleeding Cool that reveals a possibility that Benedict Cumberbatch’s character might be Lt. Cmdr. Gary Mitchell from the Original Series episode “Where No Man Has Gone Before.”

The teaser posted that went out online features Benedict Cumberbatch's character standing atop a pile of burning rubble looking over a severely damaged London. He is standing in what appears to be a hole in the shape of the Starfleet insignia blown out of the side of a building.

This particular poster has been to have similarities with the first Dark Knight Rises teaser poster. The trailer of course has been going around online and has build-up the anticipation for you to catch the nine minute teaser which will be shown prior to The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey.

But of course it depends on what country you’re going to watch the film they might not include that teaser. Though the trailer is here for you salivate your appetite for the next Star Trek film…





Star Trek Into Darkness which features returning cast in Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg and John Cho. The film also stars Noel Clarke, Alice Eve, Peter Weller, Joseph Gatt, Nazneen Contractor, Anjini Taneja Azhar, Heather Langenkamp and Nolan North but their roles are unspecified.

The film will be released in 3D and will be shown on May 17, 2013 from Paramount Pictures to be distributed by Solar-UIP in the Philippines!
